Be sure to check our online availability calendar. It is a great resource to see if we are available to do your cake. Since we book up so quickly we encourage you to book early. You can always call us and pay a $25.00 deposit to reserve any available future date. We have customers who book several dates many months in advance just to reserve the date. You do not have to know a design to book a date. We can figure out the design later.

Shipping Cakes

People from others states contact us weekly wanting to know how to get a cake:

I live in New York (example) I would like cake #CB-XX

Sorry, there is no way to ship a cake. We do have people from other states purchase cakes from us all the time however, they will be consuming the cake somewhere in Arkansas or picking it up from our shop and taking it with them.

You can always hire Cakes by Sam to come to your event to make your cake, but you will be responsible for airfare, all expeneses, plus the cost of the cake. This option is only available if our current schedule allows it.

Decorating classes?

We get calls weekly asking if Cakes by Sam offers classes:

Jennifer S. writes: Sam I’m new to cake decorating do you ever offer any classes for the beginner?

Answer: Unfortunaetly due to time restraints we do not have any extra time to host decorating classes.
Sam is the President of – Confectionery Artists of Arkansas which hosts two intensive all day cake events
